Hurts doesn’t it? When you seek specific happiness or closure but you need to resort elsewhere for it? Just because the source you seek it from does not reciprocate!
Thing is, stop chasing it. Stop expecting, stop waiting. Sometimes, you just need accept things, embrace that it’s just not meant for you and then have the courage to leave. You cannot just forget about it and just expect to be okay. The key is to accept it, acceptance is halfway to healing yourself. Try it !
