Poem: A Winning Battle

A Winning Battle

Passion so able, beauty so pure
You no longer know even if you’re sure
The skip of a heartbeat, the endurance of pain
What you once imagined, is no longer your gain

Flexibility so common, timing so measurable
Even if you withstand it, it remains unimaginable
The words of blood, the writing of silk
For once, your future looks not so bleak

Faith unmovable, charisma so bold
You know realize it was what they told
That thorns pierce hard, stems remain right
To win your battle, you must put up a fight

Until then,
Yours x
